L’iA et la fin des temps, quand l’intelligence humaine

We attribute almost messianic powers to Artificial Intelligence: a capacity to optimize, anticipate, and create with unparalleled efficiency and precision. Algorithms now predict epidemics; AI systems optimize humanitarian logistics; and surgical robots operate with superhuman dexterity. Autonomous cars, omnipresent voice assistants, and instantaneous translators are but glimpses of this revolution which, like a surging river, carries with it an incessant flow of innovations.

We are witnesses to an exponential increase in human “knowledge”, an expansion of our intellectual and operational capabilities that defies all historical comparison. The use of this tool should be imperatively disciplined by the total control of the Holy Spirit to avoid succumbing to the multiple traps of dependence and idolatry. God, in His infinite wisdom, warned His people, over 4,600 years before Christ, against the meandering paths of knowledge growth. As Proverbs 1:7 states: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” and Proverbs 2:6: “For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”

Let the reader beware of being trapped.
