The Church, in the incessant tumult of existence, stands as an admiral ship, the only institution mandated to navigate the perils of the great crises that beset our planet. Its role throughout history bears eloquent witness to the redemptive power of Christ, defeating the dark forces that orchestrate the misfortunes of humanity. The sacred verse is the seal: His victory is a legacy bequeathed to His Church, a treasure of spiritual and earthly blessings offered to His children.
Yet, a paradox afflicts our times: Christians, heirs to this victory, too often hesitate to raise their hands in prayer to claim its fruits for all nations. From this negligence arises a persistent misery, a veil obscuring the light of redemption in their own lives. Unbelief, like an insidious serpent, coils around their hearts, depriving them of the spiritual trophies already acquired by the sacrifice of Christ. A disciple who forsakes prayer exposes himself to increasing spiritual indigence.
